| THE ACME CD GALLERY | ||

Aside from the standard jewel box and cardboard packaging, ACME CD Manufacturing has been trusted
through the years with complex and specialty packaging for many CD and DVD duplication projects. Here is a sampling
of some of those non-traditional packages as well as some projects that we are proud to have been associated with.

When the Commissioner of State Lands for the state of Arkansas decided to
undertake the historic task of putting the original maps from the Louisiana
Purchase onto CD-ROM, they entrusted ACME CD Manufacturing with the job.
The graphic design for the project involved the use of archive photographs
and making line drawings out of the maps themselves. The complete package,
a 12 CD set, has been in great demand for the state and has resulted in several re-orders. [Click image to enlarge] |

Fossil came to ACME CD with a desire to create a promotional CD-ROM for their watches.
Looking for a retro-look to go with their corporate image, we replicated this CD,
which is made to look like a vinyl record. This would have been a challenge to print
for many CD manufacturers, because of the line-screen limitations of silk-screen printing,
but our guys pulled it off flawlessly! [Click image to enlarge] |

Another example of unique package comes from this band and included a creative insert
for the front of the jewel box. A kind of experiment in mixed media, the insert, printed
on a sheet of clear plastic, gave the impression that the jewel box itself was custom
made and allowed the viewer to see through the front cover to the disc itself. Often,
when it comes to creating unique packaging, the biggest obstacle is the cost. It's
simply not cost-effective to "custom make" something in relatively small quantities.
This was a creative way for the band to have a truly unique looking CD without having

Esopus, named one of the "Best New Magazines" by Library Journal and called "a thing of lavish,
eccentric beauty" by The New York Times, enlisted ACME CD Manufacturing in their effort to
create a truly new kind of magazine. The magazine, which includes a specially commissioned
replicated audio CD with each edition, is an amazing achievement. Its purpose is to feature
fresh, unmediated perspectives on the contemporary cultural landscape from artists, writers,
filmmakers, playwrights, photographers, architects, designers, musicians, and other creative

There are "out-of-the-box" solutions for packing 2 or 3 (or even 4) CDs, but this client,
who makes self-help publications, needed a packaging solution for 6 discs. Furthermore,
they wanted to be able to sell the discs both as a complete set and individually.
This off-set printed, cardboard folder (with a glossy, UV coating) fit the bill for
the complete set, which a traditional jewel box was chosen for the individual replicated CDs. [Click image to enlarge] |

This group was looking to do something different for their newest CD.
In addition to the CD duplication, we made a special die cut insert,
which contained a unique fold and a cut-away expose the inside of
the booklet. ACME CD Manufacturing specializes in custom-made packaging for

These world-renown punk rockers came to ACME CD when they decided to re-issue their
first four albums. The band chose the Digipak (with a special UV coating) for
these much-coveted records, which were released with re-mastered recordings and
